Happy Friday, everyone!
Today I thought I'd feature the awesome mini sampler quilt put together by the four great quilters who'll be camp counselors/teachers at the upcoming Camp Stitchalot in August. We asked each camp counselor to make a block using a technique or idea they would be teaching during camp... And here's the result!
I love looking at this little sampler quilt and seeing the juxtaposition of four different styles and personalities.
Moving clockwise from top left, the blocks are by: Dan Rouse, Amanda Jean Nyberg, Jacquie Gering and Pink Castle's own Rossie Hutchinson (our new Camp Stitchalot and class coordinator). In August, all four of these great quilters will be in Michigan! At Camp Stitchalot! Here to teach YOU!
If you're not already in the know, Camp Stitchalot is a fun sewing retreat put on by Pink Castle Fabrics at the fantastic Hankerd Inn in Pleasant Lake, Michigan. Each camp session, we ask different great modern quilters to be our camp counselors, which means you get to learn from, sew, and chat with these talented folks for an entire weekend.
Sign up & get more info about the August session of Camp Stitchalot, or plan ahead for December's camp.
We can't wait to see you there!
P.S. Join the linky party below if you made anything with Pink Castle Fabrics this month & posted it in our Made With Pink Castle Fabrics flickr pool! We'll randomly select one winner next week to win a handpicked selection of fat eighths. I'll be sure to announce the winner on the next Feature Friday post-- sorry I didn't last month!
