Glamp Stitchalot Teacher Feature: Nydia Kehnle

In November 2016, we will welcome 200 guests to the Kensington Court to join us for a weekend of  classes and a whole lot of fun with a star studded team of teachers. At this Glamp Stitchalot event, each of our teachers will be teaching a unique technique for improv piecing in quilts.

This week, we feature Nydia Kehnle. Her love of puzzles and problem solving combined with her keen eye for color and texture are evident in Nydia’s work. In 2015, Nydia placed first in the category of Improvisational quilts at QuiltCon. Here are just a few of her gorgeous quilts (click the caption for more information about each quilt):

Alternative

Feathers

Tessellation

Ventana

I'm excited to see what Nydia brings to our incredible lineup of teachers. She won first place in the Improvisational category at QuiltCon 2015, so her pattern is bound to be stellar.

See you next week for another Glamp Stitchalot Teacher Feature!
